Deena Rey, a proud graduate of Blanche Ely High School and The Will Make It Enrichment Program's Class President of 2021, continues to shine as a true example of excellence and determination. Graduating high school with a remarkable 5.32 GPA, a 1460 SAT score, and an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology, Deena set the bar high from the start.
In the summer of 2025, she graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med, continuing her journey toward a career in medicine. Deena embodies the mission and values of The Will Make It Enrichment Program, and we are incredibly proud to call her one of our own.
Re’shad Higgins, a standout leader and dedicated scholar, graduated from Blanche Ely High School on June 3, 2025, with a strong 3.9 GPA. As the Class President of The Will Make It Enrichment Program for the Class of 2025 and the reigning Mr. Blanche Ely High School (2024–2025), Re’shad exemplified leadership, confidence, and school pride both in and out of the classroom.
This fall, Re’shad will be attending the prestigious Morehouse College to pursue his Bachelor of Arts degree. With his drive, character, and commitment to excellence, we know he’s destined for greatness. We are proud to celebrate Re’shad as a shining example of what it means to lead, achieve, and make it.
Nicholas Alvarez, a proud graduate of Blanche Ely High School’s Class of 2019, has continued to make strides in education and leadership. As the 2019 Class President of The Will Make It Enrichment Program, Nicholas set the tone early on as a role model committed to academic achievement and community impact.
In the summer of 2024, Nicholas earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the historic Bethune-Cookman University. His dedication to justice, service, and personal growth reflects the mission of The Will Make It Enrichment Program, and we couldn’t be prouder of the man he has become.
Katianna T. Dorelien, a proud 2019 graduate of Blanche Ely High School, is a passionate healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and first-generation college graduate from Pompano Beach, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Florida State University in 2022 and has since dedicated herself to serving others through health education, beauty, and outreach. Now based in Tallahassee, Katianna is a well-known hairstylist and founder of Sante Beaute Croissance, a thriving natural hair growth brand. As she continues to grow academically and professionally, she remains committed to helping others feel confident, healthy, and informed. She has participated in medical mission trips globally offering care and education to underserved communities. Katianna’s dedication to excellence and service reflects the core values of the Will Make It Enrichment Program, and we are proud to highlight her as a true example of impact and leadership.
She is a 27-year-old healthcare professional with a strong foundation in both health science and nursing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Florida A&M University (FAMU), followed by a nursing degree from Palm Beach State College. A proud graduate of Deerfield Beach High School and a member of the Class of 2016 Will Make It Enrichment Scholarship Program, she is now preparing to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at either FAMU or the University of Central Florida (UCF). With a passion for patient care and a dedication to lifelong learning, she is committed to advancing in the nursing field and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Marie Alexandre was born in Limonade, Haiti, and raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where she attended Deerfield Beach High School. She is a proud alumna of the Class of 2016 Will Make It Enrichment Program, where she served as the class Treasurer. Marie earned a full scholarship to Florida A&M University, proudly graduating as a Rattler, and went on to complete her master’s degree at Meharry Medical College. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree with the goal of becoming a family medicine physician.
Her greatest hope is to inspire others to believe in themselves and to always keep God first in everything they do.
Kendryck Edwards is a dedicated aviation professional who earned his Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management from Lynn University. He holds certifications as a Commercial Airline Pilot and Flight Instructor. A graduate of Blanche Ely High School in June 2019, Kendryck is also a proud alumnus of the Class of 2019 Will Make It Enrichment Program. He currently serves as a First Officer with SkyWest Airlines, where he brings a strong commitment to safety, excellence, and continuous professional growth. His passion for aviation and determination to succeed continue to elevate him as a rising leader in the industry.
Akeen McGregor, an exemplary student leader, scholar, and community role model. Graduated from Blanche Ely High School with a 4.1 GPA, He served as the 2025 Student Government Association President.
Akeen has shown remarkable leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a passion for uplifting others. His commitment extends beyond the classroom through his involvement in the Will Make It Enrichment Program, as the SPRO where he helped cultivate the drive for other students to achieve success in their college journey.
This fall, akeen will be attending Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University Doubling majoring in Psychology and Political Science. With is determination and drive for success, he will become a successful leader. Akeen is a proud product of the Will Make It Enrichment Program.
Marjani Dashka Alceus, BSc, MSIT — a Blanche Ely High School alumna, who graduated with medical magnet honors, dual medical professional certifications and college credits in 2015. Dashka proudly reflects on her early journey through the Will Make It Enrichment Program to gain college success tips. Since then, she’s earned her Bachelors of science in Biological Sciences, two semesters of medical school and then on to graduate with her Masters of Science in Information Technology.
She focuses in on health information technology and built a career in ensuring the systems and engineers prioritize the patient’s care, advocating for equity and representation in STEM.
Dashka credits the Will Make It program for helping her build confidence, discipline, and vision. She continues to lead with heart, mentor others, and navigate life with grace as she builds her own family.

Edgardo Edmond is a proud graduate of Florida State University, where he earned his degree in Sport Management. He is also a graduate of the World Make It Enrichment Scholarship Program, Class of 2021. Currently, Edgardo is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Florida while serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Basketball Program. With a strong passion for the game, he aspires to become a women’s collegiate basketball coach.
Scaldie Louis is a proud alumna of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Pre-Physical Therapy. She also holds an Associate of Arts degree from Tallahassee State College. A graduate of Blanche Ely High School, Class of 2020, Scaldie served as Student Government Association President during her senior year and is a proud alumna of the Will Make It Enrichment Program. Scaldie will begin pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy in August 2026, continuing her passion for healthcare and service. She credits the Will Make It program for shaping her into the woman she is today, instilling in her the values of perseverance, gratitude, and resilience. Her guiding motto is: “Delayed doesn’t mean denied. If I can do it, you can too — it’s all about hard work and dedication.”
Florisa Moulton is an honored alumna of Blanche Ely High School (BEHS), where she held the title of Miss BEHS. She was avidly involved in extracurriculars, and through the WMIE scholarship program, she was exposed to a variety of collegiate opportunities, earning her over 30 college acceptances and numerous scholarships. Florisa has kept God at the center of every endeavor, and with a grateful heart, she accepted a full-ride scholarship to Florida State University. Florisa remained dedicated to academic excellence and later completed her B.A. in Literature in under three years, graduating with honors. Florisa’s current passions lie in education, where she serves both the K-12 and higher education sectors. She aspires to attend professional school in the near future to further her goal of impacting communities through a mission of love.
Kimberly Benjamin, a proud graduate of Pompano Beach High School, attributes much of her success to the Will Make It enrichment program. As a member of the Class of 2018, she was accepted to multiple universities and earned a full-ride scholarship through the FSU CARE program. Kimberly is now pursuing a master’s degree to become a Physician Assistant and credits the Will Make It program for helping lay the foundation for her academic and professional journey.
Brandell Theard, M.S. is a proud alumnus of the Will Make It Enrichment Scholarship Program and a first-year medical student at Charles R. Drew University College of Medicine. A native of Pompano Beach, Florida, and raised in a single-parent Haitian-American household, Brandell was instilled with the values of resilience, service, and faith. He earned his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences from Florida State University and an M.S. in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida. Passionate about health equity and educational access, he previously served as a Learning Center Coordinator at Florida A&M University and a Program Assistant with FSU’s USSTRIDE program. His clinical and research experiences — including work at Moffitt Cancer Center studying cancer disparities — have fueled his mission to bridge gaps in trust and care for underserved communities. Outside of medicine, Brandell enjoys jogging, watching anime, and spending quality time with family. He’s grateful for the Will Make It Program’s support and looks forward to giving back as a future physician.
